Hi there – I’m Caitlyn.

I’m a potty mouthed boy-mom who can usually be found with a coffee in hand (or margarita… I mean it’s 5 o’clock somewhere, right?). You might know me from my ten plus years as a photographer, but my other loves are teaching and sewing. I’ve been teaching photography and photoshop since 2009, and I originally started making baby carriers (similar to Tula or Ergo) for my own kiddos in 2015, but once they got too big I had to find other fun things to create!

A quick trip to Walmart turned into me wandering into the fabric section and glazing over the remnants. I happened upon some beautiful blue lace. Well, that was that, the lace came home with me and the next day I created my very first dress (which is the Blue Lace rental which has now been sold to its forever home).

Fabrics are just about as addicting as camera gear. After that first dress, I couldn’t stop and had an insatiable urge to create more, but since I mainly photograph newborns, having a large client closet didn’t really fit my own needs. But I knew there were so many photographers looking for gorgeous dresses for their clients, and I had the skills to provide! At first I started out with lace, but quickly realized that my love is sequins and bold tones!

And I don’t stop at pretty dresses! I also continue to teach photography and photoshop, offer a selection of beautiful (and sometimes naughty) art prints, and soon I’ll be hosting retreats!
